Hello! My name is Kelly Wood and thanks to my kids (Lulu and Ethan) I am now addicted to hunting for rocks and fossils. F is for Fossils was created because I wanted an easy way to access and share my recipes and rock trips with friends and family and anyone else that would like to adventure with their family. I am a single mom to two awesome kids that moved from West Jordan, Utah to Geneva, Illinois in June 2018. Boy was that a big move! I’ve also worked full-time as an air traffic controller for over 16 years, first at ZDC in Leesburg, Virginia, then at ZLC in Salt Lake City, Utah and now at ZAU in Aurora, Illinois. When I’m not planning our next family adventure I love to volunteer in my community, hang out with friends and learn all I can about the history of rocks and fossils.
